The Business Challenge
We built an IT Operations Analytics tool that will give the client access to accurate dashboards, predictive pricing, and predictive analytics.
Our Solution
We helped the client find the right tool to achieve business requirements with high availability, scalability, reliability, and SLA. We modified and optimized ETL workflows and designed an ingestion mechanism for the Data Mart architecture. For analysis of performance, we selected two Market leaders, MapR-DB and Mongo DB, developed independent optimized APIs to connect to these environments and perform routine activities.
The Impact Aptus Data Labs Made
The new IT operations analytics tool helped the client to easily view and process data quickly with the help of KPI and SLA dashboards. It also helped the client to keep a quantitative score of its applications, and derive useful patterns from existing data.
The Business and Technology Approach
Aptus Data Labs used the following methodology to build the IT analytics tool to resolve the existing challenge. Aptus Data Labs:
- Created a dashboard function to provide quick view (6 months to 3 years) of an application’s performance, ticketing trends, unbroken runtime, SLA, and its relative performance against similar applications
- Built the application complexity rating and predictive pricing tool to provide a comprehensive score to an application based on different parameters
- Enabled data discovery to mine data, show failure type, recovery option, and correlation of multiple events that could lead to an impact in an application
- Enabled predictive analytics to view large volumes of ticketing data, unearth organic patterns and relationships with specific algorithms, and train the model to predict results over time

The Outcome
